Obituary of Steve Rady

Zenon S. Rady “Ziggy”, age 69, of Almond, passed away Friday December 28, 2018 at William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital. He was born June 1, 1949 in Holand, the son of Teduez and Stephane (Suzmin) Rady. Ziggy joined the United States Army as a young 16 year old boy. He served his country during Vietnam and Desert Storm. He received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart for his heroic services. After serving his country he moved to the Almond area in the 1980’s. Ziggy’s biggest passion were fishing, bowling and being around people. He loved to help anyone in need, especially children. He was truly a very genuine person. He is survived by his sisters, Dorothy “Diane” Fletchall, Wautoma and Ann Sullivan, Glendale Heights, IL; two nieces, Jennifer Kostuch and Christine Miller; a great niece, Maddie Kostuch and great nephew, Ryan Miller; cousin, Konrad Radaszewski. He is further survived by other special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Plainfield followed by military honors. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of services. Inurnment will be in the Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery, King Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to: Waushara County D.A.R.E Program.
