Obituary of Anita E. Petrusky

Anita E. Petrusky, age 76, of Bancroft, passed away Sunday morning February 18, 2018 at her home after a courageous battle with COPD. She was born June 29, 1941 in Stevens Point, the daughter of Vern and Verna (Beggs) Clark. She married Raymond Petrusky on September 26, 1959. Anita was raised in the Bancroft area where she met the love of her life Raymond. The two of them farmed for the next 58 years. She also worked at Central Sands, Gary Restaurant and she enjoyed fall harvest where she drove potato truck for Weekly Farms. She was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Plainfield. Her greatest enjoyment of all, was her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed camping with her grandchildren, winters in Florida and special times with her husband Raymond. Anita was an exceptional cook who will always be remembered for her homemade breads and pies. Anita had many passions that gave her great joy in her life. She was an avid sports fan loving her Green Bay Packers. Her contagious smile and sense of humor will be greatly missed. Anita is survived by her husband, Raymond Petrusky, Bancroft; her children, Rick (Karin) Petrusky, Bancroft, Mark (Sandy) Petrusky, Plainfield, Annette (Wayne) Meddaugh, Bancroft, Amy (Chad) Matis, Marshfield; her grandchildren, Jaymi (Shannon) Ruffalo, Jolene Petrusky, Jennifer (Michael) Rotondo, Eric Petrusky, Taylor Petrusky, Sierra Petrusky, Jordan Meddaugh, Lane Meddaugh, Bailey Matis, and Carson Matis; and her 7 great grandchildren. Her siblings include, Jean (Gary) Goretski, Bancroft, Lois (Richie) Swiontek, Bancroft, Mary (Pat) Lauer, Plainfield, Donna Terry, Springdale, Arkansas, Dale (Mary) Clark, Bancroft and Jim (Chris) Clark, Bancroft; brother-in-law, Bob Petrusky, Cedarburg and sister-in-law, Irene Danczyk, Weston; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday February 22, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Plainfield with Father Andrew Kurz officiating. Burial will be in the Guardian Angel Cemetery, Almond. Family and friends may call from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until the time of services at the church. Please take a moment to view the online guestbook.
