Obituary of Jeffery Micheal Lewallen
Jeffery M. Lewallen, age 61, of Wautoma, passed away Sunday afternoon, August 25, 2019 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born May 3, 1958 in Wild Rose, the son of Lloyd E and Kay P. (Bacon) Lewallen. He married Paula
Kemnetz, though they later divorced.
Jeff graduated from Wild Rose High School in 1976. He later joined the Army, attended UW Oshkosh, and
started his career in the electrical profession where he worked at many different companies as an electrician. He
worked the last 23 years at the Waupaca Foundry as an Industrial Electrician and Foreman. Jeff had many
passions that gave him great joy in his life. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed bowling, playing softball,
watching the Packers, Brewers, and Badgers, and being with family and friends. He was a dedicated man
serving his community in various positions on the Wild Rose Fire Department including as an assistant fire
chief, and first responder for over 20 years. Hard work, sweat and determination were the building blocks of his
character and success.
He is survived by his four children, Jeremy Lewallen, Clintonville, Travis Lewallen, Wild Rose, Alex Lewallen,
Stevens Point and Lindsey Lewallen, Wild Rose; his grandchildren, Hayle and Aubrey Lewallen; his parents,
Lloyd (Ceil) Lewallen, Wautoma; his sister, Julie (Bill) Swen, Wautoma; further survived by nieces, nephews,
other relatives and many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother and maternal and paternal grandparents.
A Celebration of Jeff’s life will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at West Holden Lutheran
Church, Wautoma. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of services at the church.
